What We Do
​

1)  UCCA provides food and referral services to Elmhurst District 205’s most financially disadvantaged children and their families in an effort to fight hunger.
2)  UCCA takes great pride in the fact that 97% of all funds collected go to feed those in need in our own community.

UCCA Makes a Difference


  • UCCA mails food gift cards to each family three or four times a year.
  • UCCA sponsors Northern Illinois Food Bank Mobile Food Pantries, providing families with meat, vegetables and other groceries.
  • UCCA provides several boxes of food, including a holiday meal box and turkey or ham, as well as food gift cards, to each family in December.
  • UCCA supplies food gift cards to Elmhurst District 205 social workers for emergency distribution to families throughout the school year.
  • UCCA maintains and distributes a referral list of local agencies that provide assistance in various other ways.
  • UCCA contributes food gift cards to identified senior citizens three times a year.
